Fold of Light (Italy, Milan)

Photographed at the 2015 Milan World Expo , this sculptural metal structure rises in open spirals towards the sky, capturing both light and space. Conceived as an immersive architectural installation , it plays on the tensions between gravity and elevation, matter and emptiness. The work is part of the futuristic pavilions exhibited around the event's overarching theme: “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life,” an invitation to rethink the resources, forms, and narratives of the world to come.

The choice of brushed steel, its subtle perforations and twisted movement echo contemporary architectural languages ​​influenced by biomimicry, fractal geometry or the fluidity of life. Seen from inside the structure, the photographic composition lets the sky become the center, reminding us that even in the most technological exhibitions, it is often the void, the air and the silence that carry the essential .
