Featherweight (Jordan, Amman)

In central Amman , cotton candy in bright pink or pastel blue shades is sold by the yard, often by teenagers or young adults. Carried at arm's length on wooden boards, it circulates between lines of yellow taxis , shop windows, and street vendors.

This street trade, common in Jordan , is part of an informal economy which allows people to generate a few dinars per day, often to supplement family income.
