Pigments of Toil exposé au Palais de Tokyo

Pigments of Toil exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo

In the heart of the ancient tanneries of Fez, Morocco, where pigments color stone as much as bodies, an image captures the silent effort, the raw beauty of a know-how in danger of disappearing.

Entitled Pigments of Toil , this photograph was selected by the international gallery 1x , recognized for the rigor of its juries and the quality of its works.

It is also part of the Leica Tour , a traveling exhibition supported by Leica Camera, highlighting contemporary and committed perspectives.

Between visual art and world memory, this work is part of a sensitive documentary approach, attentive to gestures in the process of being erased and to little-photographed territories.

The Leica Tour kicked off on June 14 and 15, 2025, at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, an iconic venue for visual creation. The tour will continue across France with several planned stops.
